Calcutta university was only popular with its name.but ruined from the core .I am a student of calcutta univercity and suffered with a bad experience.its basically pressurized the students witha huge number of syllabus and a short space of time .keeping of Honours subjects are more difficult with out a good lecturer from own collage.and by mistake if you get supply in any general or honours subject then its permanently drown your future in water .atleast you need 10years to get a graduate degree if some how get supply.most of the students drop outs because the bad behavior and cut off marks casting and every year most of the students of calcutta univercity droped out by this ruin management system.
I have worst experience fron cu and I made my mind to complete masters degree from other universities but not in cu.
