University of Delhi is one of the prestigious university of India which offers more than 240(87 UG and 153 PG) courses in Science, Arts, Commerce, Fine Arts, Law, Social Science streams. More than 1, 80, 000 students are pursuing their UG and PG from DU. There are 77 colleges affiliated by DU covering every corner of Delhi. Many facilities are given to students like IT, canteen and cafeteria, library, sports, scholarships, concessions on fee and bus pass etc.
Besides it’s excellent academic culture students are also involved in many extra curricular activities like sports, music, dance, drama, fine arts etc. Each college of university has its own clubs. I am studying in Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences, and in my college there are many clubs like astronomy club, Swami Vivekanand Club, Photography Club etc.
Delhi University also provides research opportunities to UG students(stipend also) . Each year DU funds Innovation Projects in which 10 students from different departments are chosen to research on a topic suggested by Departments.
DU colleges also provides in campus WiFi facilities and access to many research article and books. Teachers are well qualified.
