There has been a lot of talk about the university going to the dogs or worse, being already there. what the people ignore is the fact that there is no place other than this to get an education or whatever you might want to call it. till I was there it did cut a sorry picture to be a part of of the most coveted university and not getting an education that one expected from the university. now that i’m out of the place I look back to my days in the university and realize that the times i’ve had there are uncomparable to any other experience and that probably includes my school days ( though I had real cool time in school). one thing really neat about DU is the amount of extracurricular and other non-academic activities that you can take part in, (including love affairs et al). the professors do not teach much but they can’t be really blamed as the students are not interested either. to get a feel of what DU is people should visit other universities and find for themselves that its a whole new ball game there. all in all i’d say that DU in itself in nothing great but in comparison it is the only place one should (or can actually)look at.
