I did not find a category for Sri Jayachamarajendra college of Engineering. So I am writing my review here. As an Engineering student there from 1992-1996, I enjoyed the proximity to Manasa gangothri campus. Being able to participate in the University sporting events was a pleasure (especially when retrieving a football kicked out of the grounds into the Crawford hall gardens). The University of Mysore as I have been told has historical repute and is a very large institution. It has many areas of professional expertise. The colleges that come under the university’s umbrella have very diverse and varied courses. It was indeed a pleasure for me to be able to come from an International High School system and be accepted in a system totally different from what I was used to. My transition was very smooth and I think the city of Mysore with its conservative approach and welcome to students from all over India will always be a winning formula for success in learning.
