I am a student of this college for the past 3 years and currently in my final year.Upes is one the unique colleges of India which offers most versatile courses in every stream. The Specialisation provide in each branch is an additional advantage for the student. The faculties are of Iit standards of certain streams while other facilities are average, but at the end if you want to learn you can. If you don’t, not even world class faculty can teach you.
The infrastructure of Upes is very good, in natural environment, as a student the best environment is given. Library is very good, you get each and every type of books. The most important thing which I saw in my for years is that, the crowd of Upes students is very refined and hence you will study with week educated well brought up and well behaved students. That is one of the most important aspect for taking admission in a college.
The classes and labs are excellent and have much more to learn. The cultural and technical fest are great, and the students are given a good chance to participate in every curricular activities.
The best branches are definitely Petroleum and Chemical Engineering but other branches have developed a lot in the past 3 years and now they are more popular.
It is a good college if you have money to spend .
Otherwise you can consider some other colleges to, depending on what branch you want.
