My father bought it new & I inherited it when it was around 2 years old.
Id still be running around in it now if my brother haddnt driven it into the back of a Mercedes at 60 miles per hour! [which he walked away from with minor bruising to the shoulder & knees].
Alot of fun [safe handling, can be thrown round corners at speed on 3 wheels with confidence], very reliable [only 1 breakdown in 80, 000 miles -the distributor failed when it was nearly new-], very cheap to run [biggest expense was the clutch wearing out at just over 70, 000 miles] & easy for anyone to drive.
I also find it better looking & more roomy than the Punto which replaced it [proving things dont have to be shaped like a bubble to be attractive.. straight panels are much easier to repair than curves too....]
