Extremely Disappointed with upGrad

We paid ₹10, 000 as a registration fee for the MICA course just one day before it started. Within a few hours, we realized the course wasn’t right for us and immediately requested a refund.


For weeks, we were assured it would be processed. Then, after a month, upGrad suddenly claimed that ₹10, 000 is a “non-refundable processing fee”—something they never mentioned during payment.


Who charges ₹10, 000 as a processing fee for an ₹80, 000 course?


That’s over 12%, just for “processing, ” with no clear communication, no terms shared, and a totally rushed enrollment.


The moment we realized the course wasn’t needed, their tone changed and support disappeared.


This feels completely unethical and misleading. We urge upGrad to take accountability and issue a fair refund. Students deserve better.
