We started with the soups and believe you me, I fell in love with the place, then and there. For me, if a place can serve their Tomato Soup right, they ought to be awesome. I wasnt disappointed, the soup was great, perfect in consistency, not to sweet and not too sour, just right! Friends ordered Manchow as well and that was good too!
For starters, since this was my first time, I didnt want to take a risk. The usual Chicken tikka, paneer tikka and nargisi champ( I am not sure about the name). The wow factor - all of these were served as sizzlers and were well cooked. Chicken was soft, spicy and tangy. So was the paneer. The soya champ however fell a little bland.
For the main course, butter chicken, paneer lababdar and dal-Bukhara. I wouldnt say that anything was exceptional but it was much above average. The paneer gravy was something I would go there again for.
The ambience is somewhat an amalgamate of lounge and family restaurant. Dim ambience soothes the eyes and mind. Coming to the food. The place has a decent north Indian stuff. Neither too sweet nor too spicy.
