Even I faced the very same issue.Had ordered for a queen size bed and dining table set on the 22nd of December of 2015.On the 2nd of January 2016 I get a mail saying that the above items are delayed due to transit issues.On calling up their customer care on the 4th, they are telling me the above items have been discontinued.Now they are suggesting me to go for other stuff on the site which is not to my liking .
I really wanted the above stuff, as my family was coming from native to my home.It was a big mistake relying on urban ladder.I now intend to go to a local furniture shop and purchase myself a bed and a dinner table set.Total waste of time doing shopping on urban ladder.Shopping on urban ladder is like a lottery.If lucky you will get your stuff.I feel they just wanted to generate a scenario where they wanted to show potential customers that are selling some good stuff for discounted prices.By creating such a scenario, they will create a shopping frenzy among buyers, out of which certain customers will end up buying stuff which urban ladder anyways wants to get rid of.Some that were too good to sell, they will later on make excuses saying that the product quality was not up to the mark or some other unproffessional excuse.
Thank god I opted for card on delivery option, which was the only good thing I did trusting them.
