I needed a bathroom stool. I typed "bathroom stool" in search and the bought the first product that appeared, a Soren Metal stool. The delivery took a long time compared to the other online shopping websites I’m used to. The product was delivered in perfect condition.
The first day I used the stool I saw the paint peeling off. I immediately called the customer service. In a week’s time I had 2 executive’s visiting my home. They agreed the paint shouldn’t have peeled off but gave nothing in writing. I waited for 2 weeks for a reply from Urbanladder but got nothing. When I finally called they said that the product was not supposed to be kept in a wet place. My question is then why did it appear first in the search. The exec on phone was clearly shirking away all responsibility.
Now I’m stuck with a substandard rusting stool.
I always feel I should give an Indian startup a chance but they just dont compare to the other American brands
