I bought this fan to my living room as when I went through the photos of the fan I was really impressed with the design. The fan worked smoothly for nearly 6 months and after that it started showing me symptoms of illness haha.
Initially the speed got reduced and I had a change of the fans capacitor. I told to replace it with the bes capacitor. After 1 month speed again got reduced then I fired the electrician as I thought he might have given me a faulty capacitor. Later I myself purchased a good capacitor and replaced it. 1 week before same symptom recurred. Then I understood the problem was with my fan.
2 days back it started to make sounds and so I took it to the place where I bought it. They said me that the ball bearing has some problem and need to be replaced. The product was within warranty period and therefore they has to do it for free. But they said me if they want it for free they have to send the motor somewhere and it it should return with everything fixed. And they said everything takes nearly 2 months of time.
I have my sisters wedding next week and how will it be to have a living room with no fan. Now ai have to purchase a new fan in between all the busy things regarding sister’s marriage.
The fan was placed in the living room and was least used. May be just half an hour a day. Without much use if the fan is showing such problems it is really pathetic na.
