Really bad serial, bad parenting & dumb storyline

The whole uttaran serial is nothing but a big sham. Logic and reason is so convoluted that it is a Pain to watch it. Its built entirely on false premises. I don’t understand why truth should be misrepresented, realities deliberately distorted for no rhyme or reason but to keep the serial going. It doesn’t help the story, doesn’t help the characters and is neither appreciated by the viewers. Each story has to have a concept, a thematic approach, a truth that it must follow to justify its existence.

If the Thakur is supposed to be a righteous and a good man why is he so blind? Why is he so deaf to Tapasya’s pleas for attention? As a concerned parent and true to his character he should have noted and resolved his daughters issue with Iccha. How could he just ignore his daughters jealous feelings for iccha. Doesn’t he know that jealousy festers over time?  Instead of assuring his child of his love and making her feel secure he has always overrode and ignored her feelings. just so that he could assuage his guilt. He has been unjust to his daughter. And why should he do that when he has no issues with his child? - only so that tapasya’s jealousy festers and so now there’s a reason for the serial to continue? What a weak story form? what a distorted story form? Tapasya has been turned into a nutcase just so that the story could proceed.

Even now I find the thakurs anger misplaced when he should have been owning responsibility for his daughter and doing the needful like maybe taking his daughter to a psychiatrist or helping her untangle her messed up feelings - He is again acting all righteous and has disowned and thrown her out. He certainly has been the sole reason for the  mess to continue and grow. And supportingly all the characters pretend to be blind or dumb or unaware or unduly ignorant or unnecessarily forgiving so as to make a story and lead to the climax. And what is the Climax - that Tapasya has been born a bad girl of very good and self righteous parents and has managed to hide her devilish ways from everybody and now her truth is exposed? Is that supposed to be the truth? Does the director think we are dumb to believe that people are born bad? Or to mistake Iccha’s gungi gudiya act for her goodness?

Also how was the thakur not aware of the bad vibes that nani was creating? Even people with avg intelligence sense positive or negative qualities in a person and accordingly support or distance them. Did he really need to be told that she was screwing up his daughters psyche? Any smart parent would have known how to protect their children. For heaven sake if he is a businessman then he should be able to size up people in a glance.

This really is a very bad serial - it is about negative parenting, about not standing for your beliefs, of fearing and supressing the truth as if every body is going to die of a heart attack if they know of the truth, of telling lies, covering up and forgiving criminal acts, of being dumb, of regressive behaviour, and being ignorant about normal human behaviour and about not knowing a basic idea if human psychology!

This is certainly a bad serial - It believes the viewers are as dumb as the story line. It ignores the nuances in human behaviour. really Flat characters!
