I have been using V-Guard geyser recently - I am extremely disappointed with its durability. The geyser trips the power EVERY month, or sometimes even earlier, and I have changed 12 coils for my 2 geysers over the last 12-18 months. I have to constantly chase the service people down - they come and tell me "coil has gone bad." I replaced the coil that costs Rs 1200/- and it again goes bad. The same solution is offered next time. I suspect this is their business model - to have a crappy product, make it fail and sell spares later!
Every vendor now is saying V-Guard coils are horrible - I don’t know why they sold it to me when I bought it earlier! The service is pathetic. If you ask them a proper solution to this the answer is "sir, its all out of warranty period.we can do nothing." So essentially the only solution you are left off with is to dispose the geyser and buy a new one. Your 8k to 9k for one geyser is in the drain in a year or 2.
NEVER go for V-Guard geysers or for that matter any of their products due to poor service.
