VAGAMON, this beautiful place is also knows as the Switzerland of Kerala, ans the terminology indicates, its something similar to Switzerland, one of the beautiful place in Kerala, I have visited Vagamon once with family, it was one of the unforgettable trips in my life.
Vagamon is situated in Idukki Districts, we have club’d vagamon in Munnar trip as both of these locations are in same district, The main beauty of Vagamon is the Tea plantation hills at vagamon, Those who are highly interested in sight seeing will definitely enjoy this place.
From my trip and experience I will quote what the main things to do and main locations to explore at vagamon.

->Pine Valley of Pine Forest( 4-5 km From Town)
This is the first place where we have visited at vagamon, there is not much to say about Piney Valley, its all about to see, as the name shows this area is fully covered with pine trees, and its beautiful location for photography lovers, I suggest to visit this area first as this is the perfect location to get some rest in pine forest to get relaxed after a long trip.
->Kurushumala
Its a well known Christian Pilgrimage center at Vagamon, The word "Kurushumala" is a Malayalam word which means Kurushu( Holy cross) and Mala( mountain). This area is a mountain type area which always greenish, and the climate here is the main attraction, its always misty and mist falls happens in almost all seasons, visBrianbalakumaranrs used to climb this mountain to the top as it is so beautiful at the top.
->Barren Hills
This is the most beautiful location that I have liked on this trip, This location gives 360 degree beautiful natures view, this is also greenish hilly area, this is the best place at Vagamon to take photographs and for hang out with family.
