Sterling Holiday Resort, my another home in GOA

Hi, I am a travellr, I liked travelling. I have visited many things in India, but the one & only one which Ilike most is GOA. I visited GOA first in 1974 with my parents. Then till last year I had visited 7 times since then with my families. I am a member of Sterling Holiday Resorts, so GOA’s resort is my another homw as such. It is situated very close to Vagatore beach. My last trip was last year with my family & we stayed there for 7 days. I visited all the places there, including the Temples, Churches, Beaches, Lake etc, did shoping also. But as a specific location I like this beach very interesting as we were staying there only. We reached here late night at 8.30 from Pune due to rain in between, but the trip was so exciting, we can never forget it.

The one of the best beaches of Goa -Vagator Beach is a picturesque beach located in North Goa.This beach is famous for its natural scenery. Vagator beach is close to Mapusa Bus Stand. The 1 km walk to the beach is really enjoyable as there are lot of greeneries alongside the road. If you get down from the right side of the hill you will reach a small beach called the Ozran beach. This beach is mainly frequented by the Indian tourists. Chapra fort overlooks the Ozran beach. If you face the sea while standing on the hill on your left side shall lie the little Vagator. You may reach the Little Vagator by using the concrete steps or even by using a small path that goes downhill. We used the path that goes downhill because it is much more exciting to climb down using this path. As you climb down the hill a narrow path leads to the main beach. Just relax & enjoy the path & sea.

The natural beauty of Vagator is simply amazing & stunning. The atmosphere of Vagator is that of a lost & lost world. The beach surrounded all around by hills gives it a look different from any other Goan beach. There are a few rocks dividing little Vagator and big Vagator. Due to the natural beauty of this beach it is very much famous for the films makers & they have shot here.

The distance between Anjuna beach and Vagator beach is around 2-3 kms. You can Visit Vagator beach first and from there can take a motorcycle taxi to the beach Anjuna. But if you have your own vehicle then its great simply great. You can visit both within the same day. We visited a small temple of lord GANESHA which on way to Belgaun road, its a old temple but very good to see, we also took darshan of the Lord Ganesha while coming back to Pune.

We had a good camera with us , so we all enjoyed the beauty of Vagator Beach very better way, as we have all the fond memories with us. This is I am not sure but, again I will prefer to GOA to see the beauty again as I am at present out if India. All my memories are still with me forever. Do visit GOA in your life to enjoy the same, happy journey GOA. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOAAAAAAAAAAA!
