I had a horrible experience with this booking.
I booked a AC Tempo traveler and pick up time was scheduled for 2.30 AM.
Vajra website says driver details will be shared one day before journey. But till 9 PM, I didnt get any details. After calling Vajra number about 20 times and many followups, I got the driver details.
I called up the driver at 2.00 AM and he said he is coming in 30 mins. But he kept delaying and every time I called, said 10 minutes more.
At the end he reached at 4.15 AM, 1 HOUR & 45 MINUTES LATE!
Our plans were already in disarray because of your unprofessionalism.
But we continued our trip and were in good mood.
We reached Coonoor and the point to point distance of the route was 335 KM as per google map, but cabs reading showed 415 KM!
When we asked driver, he said he has no idea and meter is correct. We let it go because our minimum distance for the trip was 900 KM and we knew it wont cross that.
Because we stayed in a resort and did not go for sightseeing, we knew it would come to 415x2= 830 after returning.
While returning, we started from same meter reading and followed exact same route.
Guess what, while returning, the meter reading calculated a ridiculous 530 KM and total KM was 945!
Driver added extra 40 KM to it for his home travel within city so we ended up paying for 985 KMs.
When asked about the aberration in meter reading, he denied any wrongdoing and said Vajracabs office will refund the amount if we contact you.
Vajra neither replied to our mails nor gave any proper response to phone calls.
I must say, they are nothing but a bunch of thugs having a online presence and bank account to mint the commission as a middle man. They do not own the cabs, do not pay the drivers and do not take any responsibility of providing the promised service.
