Althrough I am a big fan of Paulo Coelho, but I didn’t like the novel Valkyries. I bought this novel four years ago from DC Books Academic Sales Division, Kollam. This book is not better than The Alchemist, the masterpiece of Paulo Coelho. The Alchemist is a thriller and it will not make us sleepy butThe Valkyries is entirely different from Alchemist and it is terribly boring.
It is the story of Paulo, a man who has come to the Mojave Desert with a noble ambition, he wishes to speak to his Angel. Inorder to fulfil his dream, Paulo seeks help from Valkyries, a group of warrior women who travel the desert on motorcycles.
Friends, this novel is not an interesting one. If you had any doubts, you just read it. If you are a big fan of Paulo Coelho, you just read the books like Pilgrimage and Alchemist.
