I bought this moving, peppy and very popular album a couple of yrs. back, infact a few days from its official release on T.V.
The reason was purely ’Indian’ and till date I do not regret having made the choice.
When I first heard the ’Vande Mataram’ song sung on Rahman’s Music- I got the goose pimples like I always do way back from school days, whenever I heard or saw anything taht moved my soul to the core and this album’s main song Vande Mataram shakes you to the roots very positively.
All the songs are simply superbly written, sung & the music is absolutely different from the usual rigamarole.
In fact, this is one of the Pop albums that set a trend in peppy, inspiring Music with beats and words to match it up.
You feel full of ’josh’ after hearing the songs ’Vande Mataram’ and also ’’What r u waiting for another day another time ? sometimes u have to find a new way to peace ...’’
Another similar album although unique on its own I like very much & recommended hearing is ’’Silk Route’’ also another awe inspiring Music Album.
