There are certain things in which people just shouldn’t mix. Coke and vanilla are most defintely one. I like coke its addictive but good.
When they came out with Cherry Coke I was a bit concerned that the sweet taste of cherry was going to appear in one of my favorite soft drinks. When I tasted it, it actually turned out to be good.
So when Vanilla Coke came out I jumped at the opportunity to taste it. It was really horrible. Plus it had a very horrible after taste. The only way to drink it would be to do it really fast, so you wouldnt have the taste in your mouth.
There are two problems with that. You might explode and the drink will fly out of your mouth or you will feel the fizzes overbearing your nostrils. I tried to dilute it with plain Coke but the bad vanilla after taste would still be there.
Next time the coca cola company tries to mix flavors together they should try to derive their ideas from success like Cherry Coke not failures like Vanilla Coke.
