I had heard a lot about this place’s salwar suit collections from my college seniors. So, I thought to go to this place.
Firstly, if you don’t have a personal car, this place is very difficult to locate. It’s way far from the nearby Metro Station and bus stops. Of course, there will be local people to guide but I really got confused. Then after getting the place, I was really turned off. It’s such a let down. Plenty of shops but a whole lot of mess. The salwar suits are good but the prices are very high. There are better and reasonable shops in Kolkata. This market is not fully air-conditioned. So, the shopping experience was not that great in any way.
There’s no parking facilities offered to buyers and if one wants to eat something, there are no good options.
