The shops that run in Papanasam road to the beach, sell fake icecream which is locally made and sell them with these branded icecream, so beware when you buy icecream scoops thinking that they are cheap and value for money.
When we were there at the beach my friends buyed icecream scoops from there, they ate it and in our way back home, they suddenly got sick and then they were hospitalised. I didn’t eat icecream because I had throat infection.
So I was saved, doctor said they had been food poisoned, so buy packed icecream like amul., dont go for scoops, because you won’t know which brand they are selling you. There are so many fake brands in the market, which help shopkeeper to make good profit. So beware of this.
