I have been using the VCPL internet service since 2011. They used to provide good service for few years but since last year their service level is getting deteriorated day by day.
I am facing regular outage of service 2-3 times a month for whole day and internet not working for 30 minutes to 3 hours is frequent phenomenon.
But for the past 15 days, I am facing frequent disconnection issue and my internet doesn’t work for 1 to 2 days then too they haven’t found the root cause and the issue isn’t fixed.
when you call them it doesn’t get connected at least for 15-20 minutes and during one instance I kept on calling them and it took 2 hours to connect them.
Once you get connected their usual suggestion would be switch off the router, remove the cable, wait for 10 minutes and then try again. if it doesn’t work then you need to call back again.
Post this they will register the complaint and forward it to their technician and usually it takes 1-2 days for them to fix this.
Overall, during a month you will have average connection issue at least 4-10 times and on top of that you will waste your valuable time in contacting them and following them till the issue gets fixed.
Further, they don’t even promise you the the time whether it will take 2 hours or 2 days for the issue to be fixed for you to plan your work (so it doesn’t get delayed).
Once your complaint is registered and when you call them again for an update they have standard answer that the complaint is forwarded to the technician and they will look into it without any turnaround time.
Overall, its pathetic service I suggest you to opt for other service provider available viz. Asha net, tikona etc and take review of the people using the internet in your area before deciding any of them on your own as the installation charges are expensive for all of them around 2.5 k
