As a place Kappad is kind of boring, nothing much to do, with very limited food and beverage options. First of all I will not recommend spending more than a day here at Kappad.
Now coming to acco options, there are two decent resorts at Kappad; One is Kappad Beach resort and the other one is this one. We, five couples, stayed in this hotel for two days.
Pros:
Nice Swimming Pool
Well maintained property
Rooms are big; Though sometimes ACs develop snag
Service is good, neither great not poor. Most of the stuffs are helpful.
Decent complimentary breakfast. Though you have to fight for it:). It gets over pretty fast
Cons:
Only Buffet. No A la carte, Leave you with very limited options
No bar
Very limited options for snacks
Water bottles are 50 bucks .:)
Somewhat costly food. Buffet is a tad expensive for 400 bucks; But you do not have any other options
ACs in room are not good
TV mostly has local channels just in case you care to know:)
Wifi does not work in rooms. Works only in reception
Wont get mobile signal in rooms
