This movie was released in the early 02’s , exactly 4 years back.Vasu(Venkatesh)is a youngster whose aim is to become a famous singer.His dad Vijay kumar is a high official in police department and wants his son to become an ips officer.But Vasu’s aim is to become a singer and he makes a music band with his friends.His has his mother and sister to his support who knows his aim and they keep supporting him.And he every year disqualifies in ips.His dad thinks that his son is studying ips in hyd.His parents live in another city and Vasu lives in Hyderabad.Suddenly, his family shifts to hyd as his dad gets transferred.His dad comes to what his son is doing here and he scolds him and tells him to not to come into his house until he leaves music and concentrates on ips.In a parallel line, Vasu falls in love with Bhoomika, who he comes to know is none other than the daughter of his dad’s best friend and is staying with his family.His kid brother tells her that his brother is a idiot, rogue etc etc and she too misunderstands him due to some circumstances.In order to become close to her, Vasu lies to his father that he’s leaving music and his father agrees.Meanwhile he continues with music and becomes close to Bhoomika and she starts loving him.Both love each other but do not express their love.Meanwhile he gets a chance to sing in Sony companie’s singing competition and his father comes to know about this and he scolds his son very badly as he cheated him.Vasu tells his father that parents should not force children into the fields in which they are not interested.Children should be given the freedom to choose their career in which they are interested.He leaves the house and Bhoomika expresses her love to vasu but he rejects it.And she gets engaged and her marriage and his singing competitions are on the same day and same time.Vasu wins the competition and bhoomikas marriage gets stopped because his sister comes to know about their love and stops the marriage.His father, seeing his son win, changes and accepts him.Both get married and movie’s over. Venkatesh became thinner and slim for this role and looks good.His comedy is good especially in the first half in the bus stop scene which is too hilarious to resist.Mind you now i’m getting a good laugh now by just writing about it even after 4 yrs then imagine the intensity of the scene.His emotions are good in the climax.Bhoomika suited her role well.First half’s comedy is good with Sunil and Ali.Fights are ok.Direction is good and Music by Harris is an asset.There are about 6 songs and some dance sequences which have good music.Sonare and Paadana Songs are good.A movie worth watching.
