Last year when we (me and my husband) decided to have a vacation for our family(my in laws and husband and kid) we could not quite zero in on where and how of the plan.
In the past we had tours being arranged all on our own and also by tour operators. But this time around having my parents along made it all the more important for us to make sure that things were well planned and non-fussy as much as possible.
That’s when the Veena world Mulund East office came to our rescue. The executive there Sonali Mahadik, upon hearing our requirements made sure our points were all covered and we got our desired tour package meeting our budget and stay requirements. We were told we would have nothing to worry about once the tour is booked. (except for the tour fees ofcourse :-)
The idea of the tour with grandchildren was after all coming true finally, after getting through a few last minute changes to dates and number of people. But again this was also handled hassle free by the Veena world team.
Speaking about the tour, our tour leader, Mr. Rakesh Disale, sprung into action a week before the due dates and the idea of creating a whatsapp group was a perfect way to connect all the tour members before, during and after the tour. The precursor could be known on our way to the airport when the updates started coming in even before we reached the destination. The Veena World team met us at the CSIA T2 near the India flag as told and handed over the goodie bags - one for each member that had snacks(enough to last for the entire trip), ponchos, sling bags and a million other things that would be of help during the stay.
Rakesh met us at the check-in and from then on he had all covered. Regular updates about the gates. Landed at Singapore airport and he made sure we knew right where to be and what to do. I could go on and on about the way he made sure the trip was planned meticulously- right form the airport to the sites. He made sure the group remained informed of the itinerary well in advance and also stuck to it. Having more than 40 people of varied age groups and connecting with each one of them wasn’t going to be an easy task but I’m sure he did with utmost ease. All this while he was still facilitating the other formalities at the sites in an orderly fashion.
Kudos to Rakesh for his efforts throughout the trip and making sure we all had great memories at times also chiding us to go beyond or inhibitions and get that experience which we might have missed out on if we hadn’t listened to is timely inputs. Thanks Rakesh. Thanks Veena World.
