Best example of how the tour manager should not be

My parents(senior citizens residing in Pune) just finished their Europe trip(EUMG120423). It was a tour of almost 20 days and had the worst ever experience with tour manager Prashant Ramraje. The whole experience was a complete disaster from start to finish.

At the airport itself, he didn’t care if all tour members are correctly checking in their baggage. He selfishly did his own boarding and went ahead. This isn’t our first international tour with Veena World so we know how tour managers take care of the boarding process.

The major worst experience they had was in Paris. They were taken to visit the Eifel Tower. The tour manager gave them a time slot for them to come back after clicking their pictures. But by the time my parents came back, he took all the other tour members and left the spot already. It was a completely unknown place and they didn’t have any source to contact him as their phone was about to die. Being a senior citizen, it was a whole shocking experience for them. Still, they waited for him but Prashant didn’t feel like wasting his time doing the headcount( which is a basic responsibility in my opinion). They somehow gathered their courage and asked people around for help. When they got hold of Prashant, he rudely asked my parents to manage by themselves and come to his respective destination and hung up the phone. Panicked at that moment, my parents found one Indian taxi driver who charged them 50 Euros and took them to the museum where still there was no sign of the’Rude guy’. He didn’t bother to wait outside to make sure they returned to his spot. My parents searched near the museum and found a few other tour members sitting outside it still no sign of Prashant’The Rude Guy’.

At last, when they found him near the museum, he just asked them to sit on the bus and made them wait for almost half an hour( if he had that much time in his hand, why didn’t he wait at Eifel Tower). On the bus, obviously, my parents were furious and had a heated conversation with Prashant’The rude guy’ who literally asked them to get out of the bus. Is this how a tour manager is asked to behave with senior citizen tour members? I am not sure if all tour managers are trained to talk this way during the company’s training program.

It was also experienced that he was not treating all tour members equally. Not only us, but other tour members also experience his biased nature in one way or another.

We demand 50 Euros be deducted from’The Rude Guy’s Salary and refunded back to us This was whole and whole extra expenditure incurred by my parents. If Veena World is unable to do, we will lodge a complaint at the consumer forum.

We may not book another tour with Veena World in the future so please don’t cover this through any but discount coupon.
