Dear readers, I omitted to highlight one important point in my review. The director of Veer-Zaara tried to show the Indo Pak friendly relations.
Unlike in one movie where pakistani father objects to his daughter marrying an indian and the hero is beaten black and blue. Here neither veers people nor zaaras parents had any objection on the nationality grounds. Big B and Hema r happy to accept her as bahu tho she is a pak girl. Zaara ’s parents didn’t have objection because he is an indian. Infact her mom likes him so much that she blesses sharuk and ties the raksha around his arm for his safety.
No review has touched this aspect, how nice it will b it happens in real life , Iindians and Paks have cordeal relations. The land lies adjescent but people fight over over whose it is and lose lives and property. Hope every one realises that and have friendly relations with neighgours. Amen!
