Veer-Zara, being a Yash Chopra movie, is expected to be a good movie with some sense/story line to it. Like any other Chopra movies, Veer-Zara was a good movie I liked the coustomes they were given especially, Zaras jewelery. Songs were good..the setting and story line made sense..and semed realistic to a point that we can be expected to happen in ones life. Veer an Indian army officer, falls in love with Zara, while rescuing her from the scary dich. (The scene of eye contacts really showed the color of their contacts and was halarious) but if ignored stupid picture effects, the movie was fine. Rani had a very strong role in the movie and performed it to expectations--I liked it. Oh and not to mention Zara is a pakistani who comes to India without telling her father to fulfill her aayas wish when she falls over a hill and is being rescued by SRK (Veer)...then the journey begins.
Although, Veer-Zara was a nice movie and brings a new idea in television with the wave of friendship between India and Pakistan, it is not near close to Chopras DDLJ or Dhoom.
The only idea I did not like is that every other movie has a similiar theme now and there are some picture effets that seems odd.
