What a great country India is.
People here in Turkey like Indian songs too much. Whenever someone come to my house and hear Indian songs, I prepare a CD for her/him. Of course, it must be like this all over the world. But it is not common to see Bollywood movies and listen to movies songs. Popular Hindi songs and Puncabi MC are famous. I’m one of the persons introducing movies and movies songs to my friends, relatives etc. That’s a great duty for me.
In this process, I ve seen that especially Veer-Zaara songs are being admired by people. After seeing movie, of course they understand the places of the songs, but none-watchers also want to listen to "eisa des hai mera", "main yahaan hoon", "do pal", "tere liye", "lodi" etc. Some give you the love theme by melody, some fill you with life! and the voices are great! That’s the simple explanation for me.
