’’Madan Mohan simply redefines the melody’’ is the only statement I can make after listening to the music of Veer Zaara. I will talk about top three songs of this album:
1) Tere Liye: Extremely melodious song. It takes you back into the old days. Music is slow but the piano piece at the start of this no. is truly awesome! I haven’t heard better piano than this one except Pehla Nasha and Kal Ho na Ho. Lata Mangeshkar has managed to give enough justice to the melody of this song.
Rating: 9/10
2) Do Pal: slow but greatly melodious. It’s typical Yash Chopra film song. Best part of this song is the instrument selection. I must say here that Sonu has sung this song brilliantly. This performance is definitely gonna win many awards for him.

3) Yeh Hum Aa Gaye Hain Kahan: this one has a modern touch to it. Typical Yash Chopra film song. overall music is enchanting. Again the instrument selection is simply perfect.

Rest of the songs are not as brilliant as these three.
