Read almost all reviews on Veet as well as Anne French. Anne French is the oldest one and Veet has come to India recently. When I was small, I used Anne French as there wasn’t any competitor in the market. Only Anne French used to rule in the market. When Veet entered the market, I started using Veet because the fragrance of Anne French was awful, the cream smoothness was less than Veet. But my skin never got red or irritated by Anne French. I remember, in the past when I used Anne French specially in underarms, it makes it dark and when the hair re-grows, it grown with more thickness. Then I dropped the idea of using hair removal on legs, arms or underarms. I always did wax for underarm.There were two drawbacks of Anne French: -1. Makes skin dark2. the hair grows thicker than last time3. the hair comes after 2-3 days( NOTE: - It might be different experience / results with different person)
Since the day the Veet entered the market I am using Veet. I agree that Veet does irritates on skin or may lead to redness but following are reasons of using it: -1. It does not make your skin DARK2. Hair grows as your hair was last time(before using the cream)3. Hair grows after 7-10 days.
THE ONLY PROBLEM WITH VEET IS, IT MAY LEAVE YOUR SKIN RED OR IT IRRITATES. THE SOLUTION FOR THIS IS BELOW.
For Skin irritation or redness use SUTHOL(BOROLINE) or astringent after using Veet. It leaves your skin fresh, cool and helps your skin from being red or any kind of skin irritation.I always use SUETHOL everything I use Veet.
