Pl. do not buy these e-scooters(any company for that matter)..I bought Hero-Ultra Velociti in Feb-08 (with good intention of helping environment..) and in 8 months the battery is gone (just done around 1100KMS)
Ultra (now no more collaboration with Hero) says the battery is only 6 months warranty and asking me to buy new battery.The dealer promised me that the battery will come for 12000KMS also warranty as 1 year. ^ Months warranty is written in
user manual which you get only after you purchase the vehicle.If my vehicle would have given even 5000KMS, I would have been very happy.Now I’m regretting that I would have bought Scooty Pep or some other vehicle for Rs.35K.All these are untested products just pushed to Indian market, pl. my sincere advice is not to buy. Infact I’m planning to file Consumer Petition.
