This is a hugely popular movie. One indicator to prove it is the number of reviews on IMDB which is around 3k at present. Technically this is a Sony movie in association with Marvel and not directly part of MCU(Marvel Cinematic Universe) but leaving aside these technicalities, to a regular fan, this is a nice superhero movie which keeps you engaged.
The characters are good, might not be very deep as you will see in Batman Begins(comparing it with another origin movie) but fun to watch.
Effects are good which was very much required in such movie.
And you also get to see Stan Lee in a special appearance at the very end.
Overall, this movie leaves you with a smile on your face and is a good refresher!
