An anti-hero movie on a symbiotic organism from space? Tom Hardy, a great actor? Sign me up!
This movie had a lot of potential, and sometimes seems to deliver, but in the end, doesn’t do well.
Performances are fine, for the genre. Special effects are fine, apart from the climax. Plot could have been something smarter.
Tom Hardy’s character could have been given better scenes when establishing himself.
But, but, but, Venom is fun, some scenes are hilarious, and you forgive them, because it’s the first time a movie is being made just on the villain turned anti-hero.
