I have been looking for a good electrical water heater. Looked at all the major brands Bajaj, Racold, Usha, Venus etc. and finally zeroed in for Venus Myst model. Now I feel I have taken the right decision by buying this heater. The Myst model is the latest from Venus with safety feature like built in ELCB. The heating element is Ceramic.
The design is appealing and will go well with the bathroom interior. This model has adjustable thermostat and 3 LED indicators for water temperature. You can set the desired temperature. The heating time is also good. The inner copper tank comes with 5yr warranty. The insulation is PUF. I have bought 2 heaters ( 25L Vertical models). Paid 15+ K for 2 . I would recommend this model to anyone looking for a good water heater if you are ready to spend few thousands etc...But it is worth.

Why I didn’t buy Bajaj and Racold?
Bajaj: None comes with adjustable thersostat and I think it is time to revise their design.
Nothing appeling in that price range.
Racold : The inner tank is made of Steel. Not so sure how good it is especially if water is hard.
Also didn’t get a good feeling about after sale service of these brands in Bangalore, especially in south india.
