People with less than or equal to 5 years experience are promoted as managers . Becuase they stay night , If you want promotion or hike stay late night. that too the hike will not be more than 5 or 10% . Onsite trip will be for a max of 3 months in your entire life time and you will be like a beggar in the US with the allowance they give. The people who admister VDSI have put Verizon US a bad name. It is almost 10 years VDSI has been in India still they work in late nights.
People who work late nights are promoted as leads, managers, senior Managers and Delivery Heads. They expect the same from their teams as well to stay late night Now late night working is the culture there. Employees are treated as bonded labours in the name of ownership, leadership and the so called ’’get it done’’ aspect. People working there forget that we are in India and still work in US timings. In short it is total BS to work there. Hitenny should be a low performer thats y he/she is still there, High performers will never work there.
