Life is to be lived in present, not future

I passed by a bookstore and saw this title in the window shelf from outside- Veronika Decides To Die -by Paulo Coelho.Just took it in hand and when I read its summary given on the backside, decided to buy this book immediately.

In start tone is pessimistic, full of hopelessness, the things that made Veronica to commit suicide:but it tends to be more and more positive as story advances.

Especially the end, it is really good and describes the depth of thinking of the writer...I should confess that I am fan of Paulo Coelho after reading Alchemist, and I am not let down by him in this book too.

The main inspiration from this book is life is to be lived now, and in present.Life should be lived without any desire left for future, as future is an illusion. The person should have courage to open up, and not bogged down by the things other people think of them; From story, one should have some ’madness’ in one’s self.

There are deep inner desires embedded within us, and they should be understood and analyzed. The fear of things going wrong, reaction of others, of society, parents, husband, wife etc should not prevent one’s soul to enjoy freedom and do whatever he likes.
