Last month I picked up this novel after a lot of dilemma..would I like to read a book written on ’someone deciding to die’’? but it is a Paulo Cohelo writing..Infact starting of novel is really catching ..reader keep looking for more of such indulgence , however middle becomes a little boring as there is a lot written on environment in mental hospital and people there..
Best part of novel is ’its end.’.which is quite forward looking and makes one believe how precious life is...you feel yourself in shoes of Veronica ..I kept thinking after reading this novel..what all I would like to do if this is my last day of this journey called life...
Overall..a good read quite different from Alchemist..I found this book better than ’’11 Minutes’’ by the same author..later is quite commercial , mills & Boon sort of ending, where as this one is far more realistic..which tell you stories of people who are drastically different from each other..yet are connected somewhere
