Infact ’’the Veteran’’ is the only book I have read written by Frederick Forsyth.All the five stories were very gripping and invoked a lot of interest.The final twist that was inherent in every story really interesting.I have read the collection of short stories written by Jeffrey Archer.Though the writing styles of both the authors is a lot different , The typical British style was very much evident.What was really interesting is that the author has decided to set his stories in varied times dating back to the 18th century.The plot in each story seems to be drawn from wide areas of interest and the author has been creative in this aspect.Though I felt the final story was a bit too fictious, at no point of time I got bored.
