Vibes Koramangala is excellent at marketing itself, and luring you with ’package’ deals. Value for Money wise, they are good too. For 6000 + taxes, any beauty service (waxing, facial, hair cut, threading, head oil massage, manicure, pedicure, shampoo) unlimited times for a period of three months.
Like I said, the deal is pretty good. But this is where the good part ends.
I found out that a few other customers had paid only 4500 for the same service! They don’t have anything in written, no brochure, no voucher, it’s just verbal, so there is no way of proving their follies. When I confronted them with what the other customers had told me, they accepted it saying, they may not have alllll the services then. But when I checked with the customers, they did. Vibes couldn’t offer a satisfactory answer.
The staff, the actual workers, are extremely unprofessional, (mostly the women), and a woman called Sangeeta in particular. She is far too busy taking care of herself using the best products from the parlor, while she keeps clients waiting, claiming to be busy. Even when she does attend on you, all you will hear is a litany of woes, about how she hasn’t even had time for food all day. Then she will do an extremely shoddy job, saying let it be now, she’ll fix it next time you visit. She also managed to cut across the eye lid while threading!She ruined the shape of my eyebrows, and I have to suffer through it for 3-6 months before enough grows back to re-shape them! so much so, that vibes own management, not realizing this was their own parlor’s output, pointed out how my eyebrows looked totally shabby!!!
There is far too much managerial staff, and the working staff is often busy catering to their demands for pedicures and other procedures, and they pick the best staff to service the managers.
They don’t even use fresh sheets or robes or towels, and when you point it out, they tell you, it is new, that is just how it was washed!!! Not their fault, but the laundry’s!
They don’t give you appointments when it’s most convenient for you, only when it’s convenient for them. They ask you to take appointments 2-3 days in advance, for something such as waxing! And then, when you do go there, if it is peak time (5-8 p.m.) or weekends, you are made to wait anyway, also the service standards are absolutely shoddy. The facial lasts for 45 minutes, with 10 minutes of actual massage, and 35 minutes of pack on your face to dry. There is no consultation about the kind of pack you need/ want, only the cheapest- which they tell you then, is all that is available in the ’package deal’. They never have time to give you more than 2-3 services at a time, and make you wait for a long time between each of the services, so that you tire of it yourself, and leave.
And the most irritating part is, they keep trying to up-sell throughout the services! while washing your hair, while giving you a facial, they constantly keep barraging you to buy more! If you say no, they stop paying even the little attention that they were till now.
In between a service, they go and attend on another client, then come back to you, then leave you hanging again, to go and attend to a third one, and keep juggling instead of increasing staff strength!
Imraan and Ranjit and Mahesh are good at head massages. Ranjit is good at facials too.Anita is your best bet for anything, only if she is in the mood.And by all means, avoid Sangeeta.
