Sadashivanagar Bangalore: I had been to Vibes for a hair cut and hair color. As I am a little over-weight, since I stepped in, the staff at Vibes kept forcing me to join their slimming packages, which I thought is how they make most of money.
Then after they told me the rates for hair color would be about 4K, I tried to avoid going for hair color telling them the reason that my hair might be falling so I decided not to go for it. As soon as I said that, they started to sell me their hair growing package for 15k... which I again think was over priced. Also I could see the price on the box, they were trying to sell me was Rs. 6100/-. When asked why is it 15k for a 6k box, they started explaining that since this product is shipped in from France it is expensive. But only now they were ready to sell it for 9.5k :-). The most surprising thing here was when I asked for a menu card they said they didn’t have one.
I like the subprofessional hair cutting, but I feel that hiding the menu card is very dishonest of a salon. For this reason I don’t think I am going to go here again. If you don’t believe me then step into this place and I am sure you will get the feeling that these people are here only to mint money and not to help you look good.
Best example of this would be when I stepped into this place, they started bragging about their slimming package which I never needed. Then when asked price for the hair coloring package they started explaining the rates starting from 4k and then when I said I might be concerned about concern that my hair might start falling due to the hair color (which problem I do not have ) they started explaining about hair-fall treatment package, completely missing the point why I was there at the first place.
Bottom line is, this place is there only to mint money out from you and not for helping you.
