Unfit/rude staff and liar advertisements!!! I and my wife, who happens to be a doctor with reputed hospital, though of checking out Vibes Koramangala-Bangalore center for small waist shapeup and couple of kilos redution and a staff lady "Kala" attended us. For my surprise she was laughing on my wife’s questions and ridiculing us on our side effect queries.
I can clearly understand that she wanted to push her treatement’s benefits and "NO SIDE EFFCT" cramming on us. The killer came when we talked about money, we had an AD pamphlet of Vibes which told guaranteed 2 size/1-3 Kilos reduction for 1, 999 Rs only in 15 days and on phone also they told same but insisted too much to visit. Another lady came to explain "MONEY PART" and told that there is a "*" on the price which says "Terms and conditions" and told bluntly that it is "PER DAY" price and your cost will be 15 X 1, 999 = ~30 K Rs. We argued that AD does not have any such language but they just laughed and said "it is to pull you at our door step, sir"!!!
I think you can not have any good for you with such un professional people, who start the job with lie, so how you could you believe that their weighing m/c, which happens to be some multifunction jigsaw one, is not rigged and every day you will not lose wt but m/c will show the reduction!!! If the slimming center’s whole staff is unfit then how they can inspire you and make you fit?
They told the reason for unfitness that people may have medical history, I guess they recruit only people with medical history!!! When you join gym and you see a very bony flashless 40 KG man or a very fat belly man as your trainer then how you can believe that you will not end up like him, this analogy works good for Vibes. I want to suggest Vibes that no business can win by prooving that customer is fool and you are smart even though you are actually. A simple graduate (Vibes’ Kala ???) cannot actually argue with a Dr on things which Kala is not qualified for!! Everybody has mastery on certain fields.
One more thing, they have have trick to lure you with spot discounts. Its easy to understand that I can charge 30 K for a 5 K service and then could give 20% off, still I am earning money and customer will loose only.
If you have really vulgar money (30, 000 for 15 days !!!) to throw on such morons, who have more staff than customers, then GOOD LUCK.
I am not sure about their other services but can assume that one can go for low cost and harmless services such as haircut and facials as the setup looks good for these. Big ticket investment here is a big NO NO.
