As all of you know, the IGCSE course has been designed for 2 years. And nowhere does it state that exams MUST be held in Oct/Nov only. It is shocking that the school authorities of Vibgyor are misleading us, the parents. This means that Symbiosis and Gurukul aren’t following Cambridge board instructions. It’s a well known fact that the Class X course is much tougher than class IX and covering it in a short time by inexperienced teachers will really affect the student’s understanding and their future performance.
The students of Symbiosis and Gurukul have solved past papers twice by now but most of our wards don’t even HAVE the past papers-- leave aside solving them. As we know from other school students and tutors, the acid test of knowledge for any student is in solving the past papers. The authorities must appraise us as to when theY will be completing the course, when they would be revising and when they would be taking 2 prescribed mock tests like the symbiosis and other school students HAVE ALREADY DONE. I can only say that authorities are expecting a miracle from out children.
