My son is in Vibgyor since 2008. I am personally amazed at the way he has picked up the most difficult concepts in school, without any help from my end. Till now, he requires no tuitions from outside, as the teachers make sure the child has understood the concepts. I am especially happy with his English reading. Since the number of children in a class does not cross 20, the teachers can afford to give each child personal attention.
Also this is the only school that offers both ICSE and IGCSE, allowing the child to switch between the two if required. That, as I see it, is a huge plus point. Also the way the school handles the ICSE curriculum is very different from other schools I know of, as they have their unique method of teaching which is very application oriented.
Reading all the previous reviews of on this site, I must admit I am taken aback. I personally have not a single bad experience with this school, nor any of the other parents I know. The bus system makes sure that all children reach home within a travelling time of half an hour, which is a lot better than other school buses which make multiple stops around the city, making the travelling time longer for the shortest of distances.
I personally give this school a thumbs up, as it is a welcome change from the old convent-style method of education. The only cons I have experienced are the lack of a proper auditorium for the various performances and concerts held throughout the year, and the approach road to the school, which can only be improved in co-ordination with the local government authority, which is a matter of time.
