Just returned from a 5 day whirlwind trip of Kerala covering Munnar, Thekkady, Alleppy, Trivandrum and Kanyakumari.
While we are seasoned travellers, the trip would not had been as pleasent if it had not been for the personal touch of Ms. Laxmi from Vibha Travels. To be fair, Laxmi did warn me about the extremely hectic schedule. But it was a known risk that we took with full understanding of the challenges.
The weather did play truant on a couple of days but the arrangements were spot on. I had asked for a no frills budget package(with the emphasis on the travel rather than the stay) but got much more than I had hoped for. The hotels at Munnar, Thekkady and Kanyakumari were brilliant(for the price I had paid).
The houseboat was warm and welcoming as well. though I would had liked a slightly longer sailing time. That said, I believe the timings are standard practice with no discrimination. Hence no complaints. I must make a special mention of the vehicle(AC Innova) and driver Shibu, who ferried us around for 5 days without any complaints and accommodating all our whims and fancies. Could not had asked for more. Well done and definitely recommended!
