Today I will be writing a review on Vichy Normaderm Deep Cleansing Purifying Gel.
It is a product by Vichy Laboratories. It is a product meant for acne / oil prone / blemished skin.
It comes in 2 type of packaging.
Tube form with flip top.
Bottle with pump.
Both the packaging are green colored and transparent. This makes the product visible to you through the packaging.
It is combination of salicylic acid, SLS, citric acid, glycolic acid, other ingredients, which are kerolytic in nature ie remove very superficial layer of dead skin. Good that it free from parabens.(used as preservatives is some products)
Coming to the product. I have been using Vichy since 3years( Tube form with flip top)
It is transparent gel slightly greenish tinged. Its fragrance is mild . A very small amount is sufficient enough for use. Just squeeze it in your palm and apply over your face. It gives good foam. Avoid areas around eyes. Wash it off with sufficient amount of plain water. Just pat dry your face.
After its use my face feels squeaky clean. It does not feel dry or stretchy after its use. It not only removes dirt, oil from face, it also reduce acne and their scars marks. Washing face with this product twice in a day is sufficient enough, but avoid going overboard with this during winters, as it can be drying for some people. Post washing the face with this product, supplement this with a mild toner of your choice.
As I have already told, it is a product meant for oily, acne prone skin. It can be drying to people who already have dry and very sensitive skin. So people with this skin type should avoid this.
One tube pack of Vichy Normaderm Deep Cleansing Purifying Gel is Rs.550/-, comes for more than 2 months which I fee is completely worth the money.
