On my recent visit to Kolkata, I went to Victoria Memorial. Its one of the most popular tourist spot here. Just Rs. 20 entry ticket for Indian citizens. Its a very beautiful place to hang out. The garden which has lake on both sides makes it more attractive.
As the hall was build by British rulers, it has that old artistic touch. There is a museum inside the hall which has old Indian rulers, scholar’s belongings, paintings and many more things related to history of Bengal. Photography is not allowed inside the hall.
