I received a sample of the new products being introduced by Vidal Sassoon called the VS Sassoon line. The product I received was the Volumizing hair wash and I must admit I was pleasantly surprised. I had used Sassoon products in the past and honestly had never been that impressed so I wasn’t expecting all that much. The results I received with this product exceeded my expectations.
In all fairness, the sample I received was small so in order to give a fair review I purchased a full size bottle of the VS Moisturizing Hair Wash, since this is what my hair really needed. It had a pleasant smell and only required that I pump out a couple dime size squirts to get the clean I needed (with medium length hair). The moisturizing wash is for dry and damaged hair. I have used it on a daily basis and can really tell a difference including a noticeable improvement in body.
Compared to salon products, this is just as good if not better than some available. I will say that they aren’t much cheaper than salon products since I paid over $5.00 for 8.5 ounces. The bottle used on a daily basis lasted me just over 3 weeks so I suppose that isn’t too bad.
If you want to try something new for added body or to treat damaged hair, give the VS line a try. You won’t be disappointed.
