This was my first LCD TV bought in 09/2010 from Hypercity bangalore. Videocon Full HD 32 Inch. It worked good (for the money paid) till it was in warranty. Once it got out of warranty it failed to perform good and within 2 months lines started emerging and it developed in to partitions which had different texture. The image brightness reduced to a greater extent. When the service person was called the response was very slow.
Further they had to visit more than once to diagnose the exact problem. And at last they decided that it was a panel problem. They made me to wait for some time and then informed that the cost would be around Rs.13500 and with a warranty of 3 months for the new panel. When they were diagnosing at my home it looked like there is no Videocon part and it looked liked a assembled TV using samsung parts. Still the TV is lying without being repaired as I am planning to get a new one by spending 6000 Rs. more than the repairing cost. This time I am gonna try Toshiba as they are giving 3 years warranty.
Beware of this product. It’s not good.
