I was going through Mumbai Mirror, and was attracted by Vijay Sales Exchange Scheme, I bought Videocon’s Challengers series TV, and in just 13 Months I started facing problems, I called Videocon, after almost six to seven calls, some one came to Visit( visit fees is Rs.500/- before touching the TV he will charge you this amount).
In ten minutes after opening the TV he said, Screen Fail ho gaya, 14000/- lage ga naya screen ka.
I was shocked, just in thirteen months, I told him, I bought this for 14, 999/- and you are saying I have to spend 14000/-, he said Sir Exchange main aur scheme main liya hai Ek Saal chala, ab aur kitna chalega.
The attitude was, it is very common and don’t argue.
I remember when I was young, our TV was repaired once only in ten years, after which we bought new TV, but that also was working for almost five years without any fault and complaint.
I have realized one thing Mahnga roye ek baar, Sasta roye baar baar.
I will never buy Videocon product and definitely not under any scheme.
